Camp fire spit

14 July 2014
Great value for money. I found it noisy when we were out bush camping as there was no other noise. When we used it for a party the noise was not so noticeable. I would recommend this motor to anyone that likes to sit around the fire and smell dinner cooking when out camping.

Strong motor, love the 12volt option

7 April 2014
Strong, robust & quiet motor with good stainless steel hardware. Black finish on motor body appears to be for anti rust and corrosion protection. At home I usually use the adaptor and connect to the 240v mains. When camping I use the aligator clips to connect to a small 12v lawnmower / motor bike battery. Excellent to have all options.

spit hire business

6 February 2014
We use our spits for hire, and as you would imagine they get a fair work load and cop a fair bit of abuse from customers not familiar with spit roasting. we've not had a problem with reliability or durability, they are robust and sturdy and perform well with larger weights regularly. Its strength is their power, sturdiness, and simplicity which suits my spit hire business.
