How to Cook SUPER Tasty Chicken Wings using a Cyprus Spit Roaster

Chicken wings are an absolute crowd pleaser. We think cooking them fast over lump charcoal is the best way to do it! This recipe will show you how to cook a huge amount of wings, quickly that pack a punch of flavour!

Ingredients: 

  1. Chicken wings (8kg)
  2. Kosmos Q Dirty Bird BBQ Rub
  3. Kosmos Q Kickin’ Cajun Wing Dust
  4. Kosmos Q Apple Chipotle Sauce

 

Procedure: 

 

1.Remove the chicken wings from the packaging and place them on a large preparation board or tray to begin seasoning.

2. Season all the sides of the chicken wings with Kosmos Q Dirty Bird you can add as much or as little as you like

3. Thread the chicken wings onto your skewer

4. Start your charcoal using your preferred method, today we are using fire lighters

5. Load your skewers onto the spit and begin spinning!

6. Spritz every 10 minutes to prevent the chicken drying out

7. Once the chicken wings reach an internal temperature of 75C / 165F  remove them from the spit roaster

8. Sauce to taste the wings using Kosmos Q Apple Chipotle sauce

9. For an extra flavour punch (if you like things spicy) add the Kosmos Q Kickin’ Cajun wing dust

10. Enjoy your cooking with a cold refreshing beer
