If you own a Gas BBQ and have had the idea to purchase a Spit Roaster but can't justify purchasing a stand-alone rotisserie then you can convert your gas BBQ into a spit roaster by installing a rotisserie for BBQ. The kit comes with a fixed-speed motor that we tested with a 14 weight running for an entire week....we couldn't get it to stop! The skewer is 1 piece 1200mm long, 8mm wide and made from stainless steel. This BBQ Spit Kit also comes with 2 stainless steel prongs to secure your food and a guide bush to ensure the skewer rotates smoothly on the supplied universal BBQ rotisserie mounts. 

Spit Roast Tip - Alway make sure your meat is balanced on the skewer. Any issues that can occur with spit roasting usually stem from unbalanced meat on the rod. Take a little time to balance your meat then you'll have a hassle-free cook.
