A championship BBQ rub with Kansas City roots

Chris Marks has been winning barbecue championships with his Three Little Pigs rubs and sauces for more than 30 years. Every jar is handcrafted to his recipe, so the same competition know-how that impresses the judges is now sitting next to your BBQ.

• Competition pedigree: handcrafted by Chris Marks, from a range that's helped him win championships for over 30 years.
• Sweet and spicy balance: sugar, paprika and spices work together for a rounded flavour rather than a single loud note.
• Natural hickory smoke flavour: adds a smoky character to everything it touches.
• Garlic, onion and bell pepper: give every bite a savoury depth that suits red meat, white meat and veg alike.

One jar, plenty of cook-ups

Most rubs are built for one job. This championship BBQ rub isn't fussy about the meat or the method, so it's the jar you'll reach for on a Saturday brisket, a midweek chicken or a tray of roast veg.

• All kinds of meat: beef, pork and chicken all take on that sweet, spicy, smoky finish.
• Beyond the meat: sprinkle it into soups, chilli, vegetables and baked potatoes for an easy flavour boost.
• Before or during the cook: sprinkle or rub it on before cooking, or add more as you go to build flavour.
• Generous 354 g jar: around 35 serves of 10 g each, so it lasts through plenty of cook-ups.
