It can be a little overwhelming to look at the vast collection of grills and BBQs and decide which ones are the right fit for you. This is especially true when you think you’ve figured it all out, and then a new one comes out just to confuse you. Well, be confused no more. Today, we’re breaking down the features of a Parrilla BBQ and explaining why they’re so popular.
Heat Control
One of the first features of a Parrilla grill that helps it stand above the rest is the level of heat control you get when cooking. Not only is the base of the Parrilla nice and large allowing you to move and reposition your charcoal, but each of the flaming coals Parrilla’s come with a super simple height adjustable grill. Just by using the wheel and the crank handle you can raise and lower the height of your grill over the fire source, allowing for unparalleled flexibility all while avoiding the heat yourself.
V-Grills
Next, we have the V grills. Unlike the standard round bar grills you normally see on a BBQ (which are also available for purchase), the Flaming Coals Parrillas come with 304 stainless steel V-Grills which catch the fat and oils from your meat and syphon them away into an easily removable drip tray. These V grills help reduce the amount of oil and fat dripping onto the coals and therefore reduce flare-ups. You can even use the oil from the drip tray to baste your meat or make gravy, not letting a single drop go to waste.
Variety
We have a range of Flaming Coals Parrillas too. Our premium series is lined with heat breaks which bounce all that heat back up into the grill and they even come with a spit kit to add even more versatility to your Parrilla. If you’re looking for something that doesn’t take up quite as much space, we do also have our Charcoal Pan Parrilla series which, without the side shelves, is a more compact design and without the firebricks in the centre, it’s a little easier to maneuver. Each of these units have sleek stainless steel bodies and are sure to be the grand centrepiece of your backyard kitchen, but if you want to show off even more, we do have our Deluxe Parrilla, with two cooking areas and brasero in the centre you’re bound to one-up your neighbours.
