 Australian Design and Innovation

At the heart of the Auspit system is its patented carrier bracket, a proudly Australian innovation that sets it apart from cheap imitations. This clever design, paired with the squeeze-lock height adjustment, lets you easily position and lock your skewer at the perfect height over the fire. The swing-arm design allows you to safely rotate your meal away from the flames for basting, carving, or checking doneness, all without removing the skewer.

 Counter Lever System Convenience

The counter-lever skewer system ensures minimal strain on the motor, improving efficiency, reliability, and overall lifespan. That’s the hallmark of Auspit’s commitment to rugged Australian-made performance.

 Expand as You Go

Start simple, then build your Auspit setup over time. Add extra prongs for multiple cuts, a Spitmate basket for tumble cooking veggies, or a grill and hotplate for even more versatility. The modular design means you can transform your Auspit from a classic rotisserie into a full portable camp kitchen in minutes.

Compact, Reliable, Built for the Outdoors

Perfect for camping, 4WD trips, fishing weekends or backyard cook-ups, the Auspit Compact Portable Camping Spit brings the simplicity of bush cooking to life. Light, sturdy, and incredibly efficient, it’s the go-anywhere BBQ setup that proves great things really do come in compact packages.

This worked very well. Cooked a 7kg roll of pork on weekend. Took about 7hrs and it didn’t miss a beat. Very easy to use, compact and easy to clean. Backed it up with a couple of chooks the next day.
