Turn your grill into a breakfast station. Caramelize onions while you cook your burgers. Grill your favourite sandwiches panini-style on the double-sided reversible Cast Iron Griddle Hotplate 50 x 25cm. This cast iron griddle can be used above an open fire, over hot coals and even over your gas stove. Find a heat source and then you can BBQ as you would on your BBQ at home
Being double-sided makes it far more versatile so it meets different cooking needs. The smooth side can be used for baking pizza, toasting sandwiches, frying omelets, eggs, bacon, chopped vegetables and more.
The ribbed side of the griddle requires no oil or fat while cooking, so it is ideal for grilling fish, meat, steak, etc for a healthier meal. The ribbed design also allows fat to drain away from the food, so you can easily serve seared, restaurant-style looking dishes.
The cast iron griddle is also suitable for use in the oven. There are two practical handles on each end. It has also been pre-seasoned and will guarantee years of usage. Cast-iron features a non-stick surface and is heat-conducting. Season it like you would your grandmother's cast iron frying pan and the coating will get better every time you use it.
