Perfect accessory for slow n low. The ring does the slow burn very efficiently (I got 10 hours out of 60 briquettes at around 110c in a 36 year old Weber kettle) and the diffuser means that the entire cooking grate is available for cooking, as well as being the base for a water/dripping pan. The heat diffuses all around the kettle, rather than being hotter here and cooler there with other accessories set up for 2 zone cooking. Absolutely love it.
