Two-zone cooking with a Weber kettle charcoal divider

Most kettle cooks don’t need the whole charcoal grate burning at once. Banking the coals to one side gives you a direct zone for searing and an indirect zone where thicker cuts can finish without scorching. A Weber kettle charcoal divider keeps that fire where you put it, so the layout you set at the start is the one you cook with.

• Charcoal held to one side: a clear hot zone and cool zone in the one kettle.
• Adjustable divider: set the fire layout to suit the cook and your own preferences.
• Sits inside the Kick Ash Basket: works with the basket you already use in your kettle.

Suited to:

• Searing over direct heat
• Slower cooking over indirect heat

Solid stainless steel build

The divider lives right in the charcoal bed, so it needs to handle constant heat. It’s made from solid stainless steel and sized at 38.1 cm wide by 7.6 cm tall to suit the Kick Ash Basket for the Weber 22.

• Solid stainless steel: a sturdy plate made to sit in the coals cook after cook.
• 38.1 cm wide and 7.6 cm tall: sized for the Weber 22 Kick Ash Basket.
