Ideal for backyard cooks after a genuine charcoal spit roaster that can handle a full weekend of entertaining.

Built for a Serious Charcoal Cook

This is a hooded spit roaster designed around a proper charcoal setup, not a token firebox bolted on as an afterthought. The 220mm-deep firebox holds a solid bed of coals, and the single-lever height adjustment gives you a 155mm range to bring the heat up or pull it back without breaking your rhythm.

• 12V/240V variable speed motor: turns up to 15kg of meat evenly so every side gets its share of the heat
• Firebox depth of 220mm: holds a solid bed of charcoal for a longer, steadier cook
• 20mm firebricks: line the charcoal box to hold the heat in and protect the steel underneath
• Single-lever height adjustment, 155mm range: move the skewers closer to or further from the coals for the heat you want

Stainless Steel Built to Last

The grill and skewers are 304-grade stainless steel spit roaster components, so they're built to handle direct heat and a regular hose-down without rusting out on you. The full hood keeps the weather and flare-ups away from the cook, and the skewer setup is built to hold a real load without slipping.

• Stainless steel grill and skewers, 304 grade: stands up to heat, moisture and regular cleaning
• 3 x 10mm main skewers: solid enough to carry a full roast or a rack of chickens
• 14 x 5mm bottom skewers: keep cuts locked in place so nothing spins loose mid-cook
• Full hood: shields the cook from wind, rain and flare-ups

Set Up for the Backyard

Beyond the cook itself, this spit roaster is built to live in your backyard setup. The dual shelf and tool hooks keep everything you need within arm's reach, and the locking wheels mean you can wheel it into position and forget about it moving on you mid-cook.

• Dual shelf: bench space either side for trays, tongs and sauces
• Bakelite handles: stay cool to the touch while the motor's running
• Heavy duty locking wheels: wheel it into place and lock it down for a steady cook
• Side shelf with BBQ tool hooks: keep your gear within arm's reach

Inclusions:

Need a second motor so you can cook roasts on the top skewers and kebabs on the bottom skewers at the same time? This is the motor you need

Cleaning & Maintenance

Let the firebox and grill cool completely before cleaning. A quick brush out of the firebox and a wipe down of the stainless steel grill and skewers after each cook keeps it performing and looking the part for years of Sunday roasts.

• Allow the unit to cool fully before cleaning
• Brush out ash and leftover coals from the firebox
• Wipe down the stainless steel grill and skewers with warm soapy water
• Store under cover when not in use

Warranty & Build Quality

Built around a 304-grade stainless steel grill and skewer set with a heavy duty hooded body, this spit roaster is made to handle regular backyard use.

Frequently Asked Questions

What fuel does this spit roaster use?

It's charcoal fuelled, with a 220mm-deep firebox and 20mm firebricks to hold the heat.

How much weight can the motor handle?

The 12V/240V variable speed motor is rated to a 15kg turning capacity.

Can I cook a whole pig or lamb on this?

No. The cooking/skewer width is 932mm, which suits roasts, whole chickens and gyros-style cuts rather than whole-animal cooks.

How do I adjust the cooking height?

A single lever adjusts the firebox height across a 155mm range, so you can bring the heat up or pull it back as needed.

Is it easy to move around the backyard?

Yes. It runs on heavy duty locking wheels so you can position it and lock it in place for the cook.
