The Smartfire BBQ Temperature Controller 5.0 - Kamado Smokers allows you to control fire and temperature in your Kamado Style Ceramic Smoker using your smartphone as well as monitor the temperature of up to 3 pieces of meat. It attaches to your Kamado quickly and easily using the supplied Kamado adaptor to help you automate the temperature control by monitoring your pit temp and providing more or less air to the fire to raise or lower cooking temperatures.

The unit also monitors your food during the cook - keeping the internal temperature of the meat in your hands by sending that important information to your phone as well. You'll always know just when to take the meat off the grill!

Not inexpensive but a brilliant device to control the cooking/smoking temp over long periods of time in my Kamado Classic. It keeps the temperature amazingly stable for the duration of a cook without having to fiddle with air inlets/outlets. Very, very effective. The probes (one for pit temp and three for the product being cooked) are very helpful and interface with phone is very helpful.
