Sturdy, powerful, and made entirely from stainless steel, this heavy-duty rotisserie is trusted by restaurants, butchers, caterers, and backyard BBQ enthusiasts across Australia. Designed to handle whole lambs and large animals with ease, it delivers authentic charcoal flavour with commercial-grade durability.

Built To Cook Big

Equipped with a Flaming Coals 30 kg-rated motor as standard, this spit roaster comfortably turns up to 30kg of balanced meat. For larger cooks or added peace of mind, the option to upgrade to a commercial-grade 120kg motor is available. This makes it ideal for whole lambs, pigs, and large multi-roast setups.

Premium Skewer And Securing System

A solid 22mm diameter stainless steel skewer provides excellent strength and stability under heavy loads. Paired with two large prongs, a back brace, and a leg bracket, whole animals and large cuts can be secured safely and evenly for smooth, consistent rotation.

Hooded Design For Temperature Control

The enclosed hood allows you to control heat and smoke more effectively, making slow roasting easier and more efficient. A built-in viewing window and temperature gauge let you monitor the cook without lifting the lid or losing heat, helping maintain stable cooking conditions throughout long roasts.

Built For Longevity And Easy Maintenance

Constructed from 201-grade stainless steel with 304 food-grade stainless steel accessories, this spit roaster is designed for long-term use and simple upkeep. The stainless steel charcoal pan insert protects the body and makes cleanup easier after every cook. Lockable wheels provide mobility and stability during use.
(Please note that charcoal pans are not covered under warranty due to high heat exposure)

Serious Performance For Serious Roasters

From whole lambs and pigs to multiple large roasts, the Hooded Spartan 1500 delivers consistent rotation and precise control. The hooded configuration helps regulate temperature for slow roasting, while open cooking delivers the traditional charcoal experience Australian spit roasters expect.
