It takes roughly 20-45 minutes for your wood fired oven to heat up. Some of the larger full brick ovens can take 1 - 2 hours to reach optimum cooking conditions. 

Yes you can place your wood fired pizza oven on your deck, ensure you have proper ventilation or a dedicated extraction method. We also recommend putting some sort of BBQ mat underneath the pizza oven to protect your flooring.

All pizza ovens are different so it’s best to confirm with your manufacturer's instructions. Generally speaking, if there is adequate ventilation then a 1-meter clearance all-around is plenty of space to stay safe.

When trying to decide on a size for your pizza oven, consider how many people you want to cater for.
