It uses high quality, 325 grit natural diamond honing rods that sharpen the blade on both sides simultaneously.

When you have completed sharpening the knife edge, rotate the Dual Rods with steeling honer side facing up then increase the angle to the next angle, this is for steeling so you can achieve a razor edge.
