Ah, the Aussie-style BBQ burger—the perfect blend of spicy and savoury flavours that are sure to please any backyard grill master! No Aussie BBQ is complete without flipping a few burgers. Rather than buying pre-made burgers, today, we're going to make our own super simple burgers using regular mince, some Flaming Coals classic BBQ sauce and some Burger Magic rub by Big Boy BBQ. Just get the mince, sprinkle in the rub and then add in the sauce bit by bit until it all binds together in the texture you want. Mould them into shape and put them onto either a grill, or a hotplate for 10 or so minutes.

I'm sure we've all burnt a burger or 2 in our time so don't leave your burgers unattended. Keep the tongs in your hand and flip them every couple of minutes for about 10 minutes until they are done. 

 

Once the burgers are done. It’s time to construct them with your favourite toppings. Australian burger classics include beetroot, pineapple, and egg. But it's totally up to you what you want to add to your burger, make them simple or elaborate!
