How to Cook Pork Ribs in the Flaming Coals Offset Smoker

Step 1: Remove all of the excess fat and remove the membrane from the back of the ribs.

Step 2: Season with your favourite pork seasoning, today we are using the Slow Burner BBQ ‘Powerhouse Pork’.

Step 3: Place the rack into the Flaming Coals offset smoker running at 275 degrees Fahrenheit.

Step 4: When the meat begins to pull from the bone, remove the rack and place in a foil wrap consisting of butter, brown sugar and honey.

Step 5: Place back into the offset meat side down until they reach 195°F to 205°F. At this temperature, fat and collagen throughout the meat have broken down and flavoured the ribs.

Step 6: Glaze with your favourite rib glaze or bbq sauce, and let them sit in offset for 10 minutes to set. 

 

Step 7: Remove from the offset and allow to rest before slicing.
